Mountain Man is hosting a Mountain Bike Weekend at the Toledo Ski Club Lodge on August 2, 3, & 4. There are 2 very good mountain bike trails in Boyne City that are easy rides. There are a few more advanced sections but they are well marked. Boyne Mountain has a great bike trail also. If you do not want to Mountain Bike, there is a great paved bike trail from Petoskey to Charlevoix along Lake Michigan. Who knows, we might even find our way to Walloon Lake Winery???
The cost for the weekend is $48 per person (single rate) for lodging Saturday & Sunday at the Toledo Ski Club’s Lodge and an additional $10 for breakfast on Saturday & Sunday morning and a BBQ Saturday night. BYOB. Basically $58 for the weekend. If you are bringing the family (2 adults + kids) it would be $88 88 FOR LODGING (family rate) + $10 per person for food. Toledo Ski Club Members would pay their normal lodge rate + $10 per person.
The Toledo Ski Club Lodge has 12 bedrooms with bunk beds with either 4 or 5 to a room. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s roommate preferences.
What to bring: Your personal toiletries, towel & washcloth, sheet & pillow case (most bring a sleeping bag) BYOB, biking equipment.
